Maps

Any vehicle tracking system is only as good as the quality of the maps it uses. Exactrak works with leading digital mapping experts Dotted Eyes who are licensed consultants for Ordnance Survey (OS). Dotted Eyes developers use OS maps because of their renowned accuracy and precision. The maps show varying levels of detail from 1:50,000 down to 1:10,000. The vehicle tracking system can also incorporate maps down to building level and some customers choose to incorporate these into their particular section.
Our 1:250,000 level maps provide an overview of larger routes.
Zooming in closer allows customers to view specific routes in further detail.
These highly detailed building level maps help the user to quickly and simply identify specific issues on any route. This level of mapping is not part of the standard package.

Routes

For many reasons, fleet managers need to be able to quickly assess where a vehicle is or whether it has followed the correct route. Exactrak provides real time tracking of multiple vehicles on any routes designed by the customer.
